AGROBAY GREENHOUSE

Agrobay Greenhouse Ithalat Ihracat San ve T.A.S. company was established under our group of companies to obtain products in international standards by applying the latest production technologies in addition to the unique climate and water resource advantages of our country and in order to realize production of natural (ecological) tomato and pepper completely for exporting in Turkey’s greenhouses with the most modern technology and by employing the most qualified employees.

1500 acres of land were purchased in Bergama district of Izmir province for this purpose. Production began in 60 decares of this land at the first stage in plastic greenhouses in 2002 and at the second stage production was made in 65 decares of this land in plastic greenhouses in 2003 and production was realized in 80 decares of this land in glass greenhouses at the third stage in 2005. The total production will be in a closed production area of 320 decares with seedlings production units by the end of July 2007 when production is realized in 80 decares of this land in plastic greenhouses at the fourth stage in 2005. Our Company has the largest greenhouse area with its closed production area not only the Middle East, the Balkans and Turkey, but also the largest greenhouse of Europe heating of which is made by geothermal resources at one single center.

Everything from seed to steel construction, heating, cooling, ventilation, irrigation engines and equipment have been imported from the said countries. Our investment is famous and outstanding both in the region and in Europe.
